It isn't that hard. I never cared about titles, and after taking nearly 3 years off the game I came back to just the 3 protector titles. Still, I managed to max 4 more titles and add 7 points to my HoM in about a month or two of casual playing. I can only imagine what a true grind-type player could accomplish in that time. I know one of my former guildies who didn't stop playing during that period has GWAMM 50/50 on two different accounts.

I will shortly be getting GWAMM on my first char without drunkard. Thus not impossible. Luxon will probably be my last one. Honestly most of my luxon faction has come from dicking around in JQ/AB when I was bored. These days it's comming from a vq but I would honeslt consider it much less grindy then drunkard and thereby a better option. onto the idea of a title. No. Unless it dosent count towards GWAMM and I don't have as much of an issue with it going into the HoM but honestly you already get HoM points for doing Wik and GW:B content.

Easier and cheaper than Sunspear? You don't have to try to achieve it... if you go for guardian and vanquisher it will come on the way.

I do agree that is an unneeded title though. GWAMM is not meant to be easy imo. Although it kinda is xD
Just takes some time for a casual player is all. A tad boring maybe, but that can be dealt with.

Drunkard is not that bad either (I have my dislikes for it too) I just sit around drinking a bit now and then, while I do homework, look at facebook, guru and news on gw or gw2 if there is any, while I make lunch or dinner or clean up my appartment, even while I watch some tv or anime. Yeah I made it almost as an afk title... thats what works for... maybe especially because I don't have to have time to play to work on it lol
Also drink while Im just on chatting with people or at a ingame radio party.
Im a long way to a maxed drunkard (Im just a little bit over halfway there)
On the brightside it have cost me nothing at all but effort, I have not bought a single point, but been lucky with kegs from nick, and attending holiday events... farming when there is grog. Kinda hope I can keep it that way... getting it from farming at the right times and such and not buying them

Yes, sarcasm.
If it means I don't have to do the drunk title, then yes Guild Wars needs more titles.

Hurr...i'm 777 minutes into Drunkard, so I guess i'd appreciate this title to take some of the load off but really. It'd be insanely easy; WiK was like <10 hours of gameplay.

so 1 year to get 30 titles and you think that is a joke? that is a lot of time in 1 game. I could see 1 month being a joke, but 1 year? the joke must be relative.

technically you could get gwamm in 1-3 months as how easy as it is. As not playing constantly, yes that is a relatively short amount of time for a game that has been out for so long let alone those who 'whine' about how hard it is to get 'gwamm'. It takes roughly an hour to get any toon level 20, then another few hours to get survivor, then start synching titles, and it can easily be gotten in very very short amount of time. And this is so far without even having the 7 hero parties yet, that will just make it even faster. So yes, Gwamm is a joke, and an even easier title than something to actually work for in getting it would be even more deteriorating to the title which already means pretty much nothing other than some hard work.

I even spoke with a person once who had gwamm, but didn't know how to 'rune' up their toon and hero's.... gwamm alone is a joke but the bigger part are those whining about how hard it is to get.

You don't get to be called a God for doing minimal work.

If you wanna be God, you work for it.

I've been playing this game for five years and have 20 maxed titles (I'm slow. Also got about 15 of those within the past 1.5 year). I'm confident I'll get the other ten before GW2 comes out--4 Vanquishers, 3 Cartographers, Luxon, and either Wisdom+Treasure or Sweet+Party.

Also, be grateful for your shiny Oppressor's Weapons. You could go farm the Domain of Anguish to get the extra Tormented weapons for the HoM, or you could do the Wanted bounty once a day for 3 weeks and get an Oppressor's Weapon that easily.

Hearts of the North just made it easier to get Oppressor's, too.

I don't think they'll ever add any other title.
The HoM calculator is beta, but as it is, all it's pretty much wrapped up.

GWAMM is an optional title, and options already exist to obtain it. If you want GWAMM, go complete those titles. If you don't want to do them, then don't.

I'm not sure. I don't think that these things are long enough to really warrant their own titles, even cumulatively. I can see how it might be able to hold up its own title because of how BIG they are (in the sense that they're impacting the world tremendously), but I can't say for sure since we've only seen a small portion of them thus far.

I feel like a weapon that you're able to put in your HoM is a pretty good reward in itself. I imagine we'll get more rewards that are just as good from Cantha and Elona as well.

So until someone suggests the actual title tiers/how you get them, I'm going to say notsigned.

I'm pretty indifferent to titles anyway, probably natural apathy or being plain lazy.
Offer me money for achieving gwamm a new car a holiday or a tv then ok I will get off my proverbial ass and work for it.

Or make the titles actually interesting to do then I am in.

Spending many thousands of tedious hours to get a title that loads of people will have then bleah no you can stick it.

All I need is enough titles and that is currently 5 and may rise to ten if I have problems getting the Rainbow phoenix.
